Sachein (Tamil: சச்சின்) is a 2005 Tamil romance film directed by John Mahendran, starring Vijay and Genelia D'Souza. It also features Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu, in her Tamil cinema debut, Vadivelu, Santhanam and Raghuvaran. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Devi Sri Prasad.The film's opening was slow due to the two other big films of superstar rajnikanth and kamalhassan but still managed a decent 200 days run in theatres and declared a super hit in vijay's career.The television rights of this film were sold to Tamil channel Jaya TV at a good price.
